Expertise

Linda is an Executive Coach and Organization Development Consultant with over twenty-five years of experience in developing and implementing approaches for improving leadership and organizational effectiveness. She has been coaching leaders since 1994, first as an internal coach and then starting in 2002 as an external coach. She has worked with large, mid-size, and small companies in varied industries.  With a focus on leveraging strengths and identifying strategies to increase effectiveness, she incorporates assessment, feedback, and action planning to assist executives in reaching their goals and attaining lasting improvements in their leadership efforts.  She is particularly effective in helping leaders address style issues (e.g., collaboration, conflict management, EQ, developing/coaching) that impact their own effectiveness and that of their teams, and in working with driven leaders to focus that drive on developing themselves to be the best leader possible.  In addition to executive coaching, Linda’s areas of expertise include new leader assimilation, employee surveys and follow-up, team development, and multi-rater feedback.

Professional Background

Prior to her current coaching and consulting practice, Linda was Vice President, Management Development, at Prudential. In that role, she created and ran an executive coaching process, served as an organization development consultant on a wide range of projects, created and facilitated workshops on development planning, career planning, performance management, and behavioral interviewing, and developed and coordinated the company’s Executive MBA sponsorship program. In earlier assignments, she managed a full range of company-wide organization development projects, including planning and implementing employee opinion surveys, evaluating and revising the performance management system, and examining the validity of hiring assessments. Previous roles include various management and internal consulting positions at Nabisco, NYNEX (now Verizon), and the Institute for Organizational Research and Development. 

Education/Certifications

Linda received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and her B.S. in Psychology, summa cum laude. She is a Certified Professional Coach, has her ACC credential from ICF, and has certifications in a number of assessment and 360-degree feedback tools, including Hogan Assessments, CCL Benchmarks, PDI Profilor, and Leadership Versatility Index (LVI).  She has worked with companies in financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, professional services, not-for-profit, and others.  A partial list of her clients includes:  Prudential, Pfizer, Medco, Drew University, and the Newark Museum.  On an affiliate basis she has also worked with a variety of clients including:  ADP, BASF, Bayer, BD, BMS, Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Novartis, and Wyndham.
